How Long Does The Skin Care Routine Take?
The Beauty Without Chemicals skin care routine is a simple daily routine both morning and night. Each session will take only a couple of minutes.
What Steps Are Involved In the Skin Care Regime?
A simple 3 step process.
- Cleanse morning and evening with the Revitalising Foaming Cleanser 2% AHA.
- Moisturise morning and evening with the Revitalising Moisturiser.
- Renew between 1 and 5 times per week with Skin Renewal Serum 14% AHA.
How Do I Use Revitalising Foaming Cleanser 2% AHA?
Once in the morning and again at night simply, dampen your skin with warm water, apply two pumps of the Revitalising Foaming Cleanser to the palms of your hands and apply all over the face.
Massage in (it will disappear into the skin) and then remove with warm water and a face washer.
Please note that 2 applications may be needed if makeup is worn.
Gently pat the skin dry with a towel.
How Do I Use Revitalising Moisturiser?
Apply enough Revitalising Moisturiser to cover the entire face and décolletage.
Apply sparingly to the eye area.
The soothing properties of Revitalising Moisturiser make it ideal for men to use after shaving.
This product contains a natural sun filter, however we recommend that you care for your youthful glowing skin by always using a separate sunscreen when spending time outdoors.
How Do I Use Skin Renewal Serum 14% AHA?
This is a home treament that is used 1 to 5 times a week, as a mask depending upon skin type - see below for recommendations.
Apply a thick film of the serum over the area to be treated. Face, neck or decolletage. Leave it for 1-3 minutes and then remove with tepid water.
- Normal, Combination or Blemished Skin
- Evening: 1-3 times a week
- Sensitive or Fine Skin
- Evening: 1-3 times a week
- Mature Skin
- Evening: 3-5 times a week
I get A Tingling Sensation - Is That Okay?
When using an AHA product you may experience a tingling sensation. Some skin types may experience a slight redness to the skin this will disappear. This will subside when removed with tepid water and moisturiser applied.
If you experience a strong tingling leave on for 1 minute only.
Please note that if you have eczema or psoriasis then you should consult your doctor first before using products containing AHA.
Do I Need To Use A Sunscreen On Top Of Your Moisturiser?
The Revitalising Moisturiser does contain natural ingredients that act as a sun filter. It is however highly recommended that when using AHA products you always use a strong sunscreen when outdoors.
Can I Leave The Skin Renewal Serum On Overnight?
It is only recommended that you leave the Skin Renewal Serum with 14% AHA on for the recommended time between 1 and 3 minutes depending upon how your skin feels. It is not recommended to leave it on for longer than this.
What is AHA?
AHA is short for Alpha Hydroxy Acid. It is a naturally occuring acid that is found in many plants and animal tissue. It has been used to improve skin for many centuries in various forms. Learn more about AHA.
You Say There Are No Chemicals In Your Skin Care Products, So What Are The Ingredients?
The ingredients are listed on the products and on our ingredients page.
You will see that all of the ingredients are naturally occuring and some are organic.
Does Your Skin Care Contain Benzoyl Peroxide?
